The Detroit Skating Club is home to national, international, and Olympic ice skating competitors, and we are pleased to have many of them as part of our Learn to Skate staff. The Detroit Skating Club’s Learn to Skate program follows the guidelines of U.S.F.S (United States Figure Skating), the national governing body for figure skating. In addition to learn to skate programs, U.S.F.S. oversees both World and Olympic figure skating competitors. D.S.C. tot classes are for skaters who are 3 and 4 years old. The Learn to Skate classes are for skaters 4 years of age and older and prepare skaters for both figure skating and hockey.
Adult classes are for skaters 18 years of age and older.
